Message

Education system in our country and specially in sindh province is very poor and government school fails to provide basic education to kids. Keeping this facts in mind Friends of Memon Welfare Society established two model schools in Jati and Mirpur Bhatoro and providing free education. More than 100 kids including girls getting free basic education , we also provide free uniforms and books to encourage them. Total monthly expenses are around 25 thousand, we need your continuous Financial support to run it in smooth mode. We welcome all our well wishers and donors to come and visit to see it.

Marriage Assistance

Tanveer Wakani Memorial Jahez Fund The purpose of this fund is to support deserving Cutchi Memon families on the occasion of their girl marriage. We wanted to ensure that the girls in our community are not deprived of their futures due to a shortage of funds. These funds were initiated a few years ago and named in the memory of our very beloved and late Ex-Chairman Mr. Tanveer Wakani. Initially we provided only one Jahez every month, However with the passage of time the number of cases increases and last year we have distributed more than 60 cases. Initally the cost of each Jahez Package is Rs 25000 but due to inflation it is also increase and currently it cost RS 45000 per case. The items included in our Jahez Packages are

Mosques And Madarsa

With a lot of hard work from our team and support from our donors, Friends of Memon Welfare Society has established 10 mosques in different cities and villages of interior Sindh including Sujawal, Chohar Jamali, Mirpur Bhatero and Jati. We also run madrassas in each mosque.

A total of 400 children including girls are receiving free deeni education. Total monthly expenses of the mosques are approximately 1 Lac which we use from non-Zakat funds.

Details of the mosques are given below:


1. Jamia Masjid Rafiq is located in Jagir Village, Mirpur Bathoro

2. Jamia Masjid Qamarunnisa is located 1km off the Sujawal-Choohar Jamali Road in Sujawal District.

3. Masjid Sadruddin is located in Ali Aamro Village, 2km off the Sujawal-Choohar Jamali Road in Sujawal District.

Having a Master’s degree in Chemistry. The Managing Partner and Chief Financial Officer of a renowned Indenting Company DAWN IMPEX, has been managing the company since last 15 years. Also have vast experience of working in different positions in community based social organization. He has been rendering his services in the same welfare society for last 20 years. Remained active in variety of services, be it Relief Camps, Donation campaign or any other activity in the city or any remote areas. His active participation in Volunteer services, lead him to the start his own Welfare Organization which is at its good pace of fulfilling the utter needs of poor community.
